Cotage Fromage closes for revamp

Since opening its doors to the public more than 6 years ago, Cotage Fromage has become a popular stop for visitors to the Cape wine lands. It was the first local deli to specialize in a wide variety of local cheese and olive products. The landmark thatch cottage and cluster of oaks trees at the entrance to the historic Vrede en Lust wine estate provides a beautiful and family friendly setting for Cotage Fromage. The owners of Vrede en Lust have decided that it was time for a significant revamp of Cotage Fromage in order to keep pace with constantly evolving customer needs. The refurbishment will necessitate the closure of Cotage Fromage from 1 May 2007 until first week in December. When the Cotage Fromage re-opens to the public, it will feature an exciting new management team, new menus, improved facilities and new decor. More news in these regards will be released closer to September. Vrede en Lust thanks Cotage Fromage’s customers for their support during the past 6 years and apologizes for any inconvenience that the revamp may cause. We can assure you that the wait for the improved Cotage Fromage will be worth it!
