Jonkmanshuis

We have three deluxe 2 bedroom suites that form part of the historic Jonkmanshuis, located between the winery and the Manor House.

The Jonkmanshuis contains 3 deluxe suites, all named after the children of Jacques de Savoye, and is located next to the Marguerite chardonnay block on the farm. We have recently updated them and added a cozy fireplace to each unit and also replaced the TVs with new flat screens.

From here you can explore the winelands, go for long walks, runs or cycles. You will have the wonderful Cotage Fromage country restaurant and deli on your doorstep. Enjoy breakfast at Cotage Fromage as part of the accommodation package.

Jonkmanshuis in winter

You will enjoy a huge selection of attractions within a 20 minute driving range that covers the towns of Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch and their associated wine routes.

More than half of South Africa’s top 10 restaurants are located in the winelands.
More than 100 wineries.
Vrede en Lust is located close to both Pearl Valley and Paarl golf courses.
A number of equestrian estates offer horse riding in the area and for Polo enthusiasts Val de Vie is just across the river.

Marguerite

Offers a living room with fireplace and flat screen TV, two en-suite double bedrooms along with a fridge, microwave and can sleep up to 4 guests. There is satellite TV with up to 15 channels and if required you could bring your own DSTV card. It includes breakfast at Cotage Fromage for up to 4 people and access to the Jonkmanshuis garden, barbeque area and pool. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Barbere

This cottage is ideal for a family with children. It offers a living room with fireplace and flatscreen TV, two ensuite double bedrooms along with a small kitchen and can sleep up to 4 guests. There is satellite TV with up to 15 channels and if required you could bring your own DSTV card. It includes breakfast at Cotage Fromage for up to 4 people and access to the Jonkmanshuis garden, barbeque area and pool. All rooms are airconditioned.

Jacques

Offers a living room with fireplace and flat screen TV, two en-suite double bedrooms along with a fridge, micro-wave and can sleep up to 4 guests. There is satellite TV with up to 15 channels and if required you could bring your own DSTV card. It includes breakfast at Cotage Fromage for up to 4 people and access to the Jonkmanshuis garden, barbeque area and pool. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Guests may check-in between 2pm and 5pm and need to check out by 11am…
