The Vrede en Lust winery is the product of the legendary Gunter Brozel’s expert cellar design initiative, coupled with the architectural prowess of the leading Paarl firm Malherbe-Rust.
We celebrate the harvest every year in early March on a day we call ‘De Savoye Day’, in honour of the estate’s original owner. It gives visitors the broadest access to all we do in the winery and vineyards:
Experience Vrede en Lust from the vine to the wine.
We are open 7 days a week, from 10am to 5pm. The tasting room will be closed from 16 July until 13 August 2012. We offer free tastings (as opposed to free drinking ) as we understand that you have many choices and we appreciate your time with us!
If you want to buy wines without the hassle of lugging cases with you we have special warehouses in Gauteng and Europe to deliver our wines quickly and cost effectively.
An experience you can count on: The Vrede en Lust Winery & Cellar Door runs non-stop, as it is backed up by a permanent, industrial strength generator.
