Vrede en Lust offers an elegant and tranquil setting for the wedding of your dreams. Historical Cape Dutch architecture, undulating vineyards and breathtaking mountain scenery, coupled with our first class service and attention to detail makes Vrede en Lust the ideal location for your wedding.

The farm will be exclusively yours for the day; therefore you have the option of changing venues for each function. Each venue is able to be catered for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner by the top-notch catering team from Cotage Fromage.

High season pricing starts at R26,000(seasonal) for the venue, with attractive accommodation packages available. We offer special prices for mid-week, low season and last minute weddings!

The above rates are VAT Inclusive and includes the following:

• The full use of our Historic Cellar & Vineyard Terrace and seating for up to 140 people
• Availability of our magnificent gardens for your wedding day photographs.
• Reception set-up of standard round tables, white plastic chairs, cutlery and crockery (excludes glassware)
• The venue is backed by a powerful generator to ensure that ESCOM problems do not derail your most important day! The cost of hiring such a generator for your big day would be about R10,000, but at Vrede en Lust it is part of the package at no extra cost! The generator also provides backup power for all the accommodation.
