The Vrede en Lust winery is the product of the legendary Gunter Brozel's expert cellar design initiative, coupled with the architectural prowess of the Paarl firm Malherbe Rust.
We celebrate the harvest every year in early March on a day we call 'De Savoye Day', in honour of the estate's original owner. It gives visitors the broadest access to all we do in the winery and vineyards:

We are open 7 days a week, from 10am to 5pm from 1 September until the end of May. We are open from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday, from 1 June until the end of August. We offer free tastings (as opposed to free drinking :-) ) as we understand that you have many choices and we appreciate your time with us!
If you want to buy wines without the hassle of lugging cases with you we have special warehouses in Gauteng and Europe to deliver our wines quickly and cost effectively.
