Syrah 2007
Silver medal at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards 2009

Our single varietal Malbec was inspired by the beautiful, fruit driven wine also used in our Bordeaux blends.
This 2 ha Vrede en Lust block of Malbec is situated higher up on the Simonsberg and was planted in 1997.
This wine brings a whole new twist to Malbec. The wine is rich, ruby red in colour and fruity....with beautiful aromas of mocha and chocolate, hence the Mocholate Malbec name!
Platter tba
Available in under Stelvin in 750ml.
Coffee and mocha with cherries, abundant red berries, mulberry, blackberry and an explosion of fruit on the palate make up this fun filled wine. Silky smooth. Medium bodied and very easy drinking.
Picked at 24.5 Balling with a couple of days of cold soaking pre fermentation. Fermentation in stainless steel tank on oak. Grapes pressed before full fermentation. Aged in stainless steel tanks on oak before bottling after 9 months.
