Barrique 2009
This blend shows the beautiful aromas of Semillon's bell peppers, quince and integrated oak aromas. The cooler climate Sauvignon Blanc shows typical aromas with flint notes and minerality. Both wines were fermented in oak and matured for 8 months on the lees before bottling.
If there is a particular Cultivar that stands out in a vintage or a small experimental production that the winemaker feels exceptional enough to bottle on its own and turn into something special, it is done. This is how the Barrique came to be.
Total production only 1250 bottles Available in 750ml.
