Q: As a wine club member, do I receive a discount on wines I buy at Vrede en Lust winery?
A: Monthly members receive 25% off of all wines and merchandise at the tasting room while our Quarterly members receive a 20% discount. Bi-Annual members receive a 15% discount. This offer applies to all additional purchases on our on-line store as well.
Q: How do I find out about wine club special events?
A: With each shipment you will be notified of upcoming events in the wine club newsletter. Information regarding special events will also be posted on the wine club section of our website.
Q: May I select my own wines for each shipment?
A: At this time we are unable to process this request. You may specify the Tier level you desire (Tier 1, Tier 2 or Mixed) and you may specify your wine style preference.
Q: How much does being a wine club member cost?
A: Membership is free. You will be charged for delivery based on how far from one of our warehouses you reside. Your credit card will be charged at the time of shipping.
Q: How do the charges work for the shipments?
A: You will be charged for shipping for each delivery made. Please refer to the shipping inquiries page for which rates apply to you.
Q: Can I purchase a gift membership?
A: A gift membership is a perfect gift for a friend or family member that is a wine lover or just starting to learn about wines. All shipments and membership materials will be sent to the gift recipient as well as all of the benefits that come with being a member. Your credit card will be charged each shipment and the recipient will not receive any invoices or charges. Upon sign up, we will send the recipient notification of your thoughtful gift. When you are ready to cancel the gift membership, simply notify us in writing and we will process your request.
Q: Can I suspend my membership?
A: Yes. You are able to suspend up to two consecutive shipments per year as long as notification is received prior to shipment noting which months you wish to suspend.
Q: How can I schedule my complimentary cellar tour, vineyard tour or private tasting?
A: You may call or email regarding availability.
Q: How long must I remain a member?
A: We require that you commit to the membership for one full year and thereafter you may cancel at any time.
Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: You may cancel your membership by contacting us via email, mail or fax.
Q: What happens if I move?
A: Please notify us prior to your move by phone, email, mail or fax. Vrede en Lust is not responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected wines.
