The farm will be yours exclusively for the day; therefore you have the option of changing venues (welcome drinks, ceremony, reception) for each function. Catering is provided by the top-notch catering team from Cotage Fromage.
The Vineyard Terrace
- The Vineyard Terrace offers spectacular views with a total of 300sqm outdoor floor space (250sqm covered by a permanent roof structure).
- Please note that only the front of the tent is removable.
- The historic cellar covers more than 300sqm with a permanent kitchen and toilets.
- The venue is backed by generator power to ensure no loss of electricity at any time.
Venue & Accommodation packages for wedding parties on weekends:
The accommodation and venue is offered as a wedding package from Friday to Sunday. The prices quoted are for the September 2011 – September 2012 season at the Vineyard Terrace and Historic Cellar.
- 1 x Day Package @ R 72 000 incl VAT
- 2 x Day Package @ R 92 000 incl VAT
- 3 x Day Package @ R 105 000 incl VAT
- 4 x Day Package @ R120 000 incl VAT
The above rate includes the following:
- Accommodation for 22 guests in 11 luxury double rooms (includes 3 x cottages and a luxury Manor House)
- A delicious breakfast at Cotage Fromage Restaurant and Deli
- Full use of the Poolhouse situated at Historic Manor House
- The full use of our Historic Cellar & Vineyard Terrace and seating for up to 140 people
- The ceremony lawn area overlooking the Franschhoek mountain and vineyards
- The reception area for pre-dinner drinks and canapés
- The exclusive use of the farm for photos (excludes public areas such as wine tasting area and restaurant)
- Round & Rectangular tables, ceremony & reception chairs and cutlery & crockery (excludes glassware).
- The venue is backed by an industrial size generator to ensure no loss of electricity at any time.
- A discount of 15% is applicable for a mid week (Monday to Thursday) wedding.
