Vrede en Lust Cabernet Franc has been successful amongst all its vintages with winning accolades.
The vines were planted in 2008 on a 1.1 hectare north-facing slope on Vrede en Lust’s Elgin farm, Casey’s Ridge. The 2018 vintage is the first to be part of our flagship Black Label Range.

Core red fruit flavours to integrated fynbos ends with a savoury palate. Medium bodied with fine and fresh tannins, generous length and distinct intensity balancing the appealing fruit forwardness.
